I had the pleasure of photographing Eva and Peter’s wedding in Edmonton, and what an incredible day it was! This amazing couple picked the perfect venues: the University of Alberta Botanical Garden for their ceremony and the Fairmont Hotel in downtown Edmonton for their reception.

The day kicked off with my wife doing Eva’s makeup while I captured some stunning shots. Despite a bit of smoke from distant forest fires, the botanical garden was lush and vibrant. Eva and Peter’s vows amidst the greenery and flowers created such a serene, intimate atmosphere. The haze even added a soft, dreamy quality to the photos, making everything look extra romantic.

The reception at the Fairmont Hotel was pure elegance. My brother was on hand for additional video work, ensuring we didn’t miss a single moment—from the first dance to the heartfelt speeches. The hotel’s classic architecture provided gorgeous backdrops for photos, adding another layer to Eva and Peter’s beautiful love story.

Even with the smoky skies, the wedding was absolutely stunning. I felt truly honored to be part of Eva and Peter’s special day and to photograph such a joyous occasion. Eva and Peter, thank you for letting me capture your memories. Here’s to a lifetime of happiness for you both!
